Pastor Ryan has been involved in ministry since 2008 and has had the opportunity to serve at several different Baptist churches in the states of Washington, Idaho, Florida, and Tennessee. He has served in the roles of youth pastor, associate pastor, college pastor and hospice chaplain. His philosophy of ministry is to equip believers to become disciple makers that will impact the next generation for Christ (Ephesians 4:12). His ministry objective is to equip believers to become self-sufficient in their faith as well as reproducing followers of Christ.  This manifests itself through encouraging believers to have regular quiet times, involvement in worship services, discipleship classes, and outreach endeavors.

He is an ordained minister and holds two ministry degrees. In 2006 he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute. In 2014 he graduated with his Masters in Divinity from Liberty University.  He was ordained to the Gospel ministry by Calvary Baptist Church of Erwin in August of 2012.
